Donna Moore (Aunt Donna & Uncle Jerry)

I can't believe that it has been a year since our sweet sweet Kory left us all and went to heaven. This is his 2nd birthday in heaven and my my my like George Strait sings I'll meet you on the other side if I make it. Yes we are all going to make it to the other side. Kory would want that one thing for sure. Lately I have really been having some one on one talks with Jesus and I have asked him specifically for Kenda and Kevin to have an aha moment where they will know without a shadow of a doubt that Jesus and Kory were doing something to cheer them up on his anniversary date of going to heaven. You will have to ask them what the Lord and Kory did. It is awesome and it did cheer them up. The Lord will answer when you cry out to Him. We're his kids and he loves to give us the desires of our hearts. We go to Saturday night church and on the way home there was this Nissan and it was covered in dust and dirt and on the back it had a decal that read "The asphalt is my playground." I looked at Jerry and I said that is a Kory saying!!!!!!" We agreed and sort of smiled. Then as we got side by side with the Nissan I looked to see what kind of driver was driving this car and it was a dude with round John Lennon glasses on and he was Kory's age and yes he had red hair and a really really long red pointed beard. Jerry and me laughed so hard  we cried. I know it was the Lord and Kory up to something and boy did we need this. It was really really neat and it got us through the down time and the missing him so much your guts feel like they are hanging out time. I love telling all of you who I do not know these things and I pray that you will laugh and celebrate Kory for who he was and who he still is. Kenda and Keving I believe have about 60 adopted kids now that were his friends. Thank you all whoever you are that keep them cheered up and loved. You are all the best but Kory was the best so that is why he chose you. Memories.........they are just ours alone and no one can take them away. I pray you all feel loved by the man upstairs and that the Lord and Kory will give all of you an aha moment and you will know without a shadow of a doubt it was from Kory and His heavenly Father. We will see you Kory again and it looks like it may be sooner than we all think with the way the world is going. Oh happy day!!!!!! Love Forever and Ever Amen!!!!! Aunt Donna & Uncle Jerry

When Kory was about l3 or l4 yrs. old he was staying with his Grandpa & Grandma Moore for a few weeks in the summer. I had come over to see him and he told me that he was fixing supper for all of us and I thought Hmmmm.... I wonder what in the world he will fix.  When I was that age all I knew to fix was grilled cheese and ranch style beans.  Sure enough he fixed us the best chicken enchiladas with red sauce!!!! He got it out  of Better Homes and Garden cookbook.  I am telling you I was amazed and so proud of him.  For him to take the time to do this was unbelieveable, but that was our Kory!!!! If you want the receipe just look in the cookbook of your Mom's or Grandma's.  He was better than any Emeril (a famous cook).  As I was thinking about this by the way his Grandma Dietrich & Grandma Moore were excellent cooks.  What a memorie.  Thank you dear Lord for pictures and memories!!!!!!! I love you Kory, Kenda & Kevin  Love You Tons, Aunt Donna   P.S. By the way if any of you have a precious memorie of Kory please write it in this memorial.  Kenda & Kevin need your love at this time.

Kory Doodle or Korky Doodle was very adventerious! One time he came to our farm with his best friend Colby. It was Thanksgiving and we could not find the boys anywhere. I went outside hollering for them and could not find them. They were on the very top of our cotton stripper equipment laughing their darling heads off at me! Nothing scared them and they were having the time of their life!!!! Another time when Kory was about eight he loved to eat his grandmother Georgetta's homemade chocolate cake. He went into total sugar overload and put all the couch pillows in the floor and literally jumped from one to the other. All he needed was a motorcycle and he could have been Evil Kineeval. He was a teacher's pet because he had red hair.  Imagine that!!!!!!! We called his freckles "Angel Kisses" and he was the sweetest nephew. As he got older he still hugged me and that in itself is so special because you know what being a teenager does to them.  When he graduated and came to Amarillo we gave him a graduation party and cooked steaks and his Uncle Jerry gave him some really cool tools.  Kory always left his Grandpa Moore's tools strung out in the garage and I believe he and his Grandpa are building some pretty magnificient things and guess what? Kory is leaving his grandpa's tools out.  You are the best Kory and we will see you again. Your spirit will live forever.  You and Jesus I know are having some pretty incredible talks. Forever in our hearts. Love You Kory Doodle, Aunt Donna & Uncle Jerry
